If you need to pick up your children during the instructional day, it is important that arrangements are made ahead of time where at all possible.   Please send in a note letting the teacher know what time the student needs to leave class.  Older students are able to monitor the time themselves and be ready at the appropriate time.  When picking up children during the day, parents must come into the school to sign students out at the office.  Except in the case of emergencies, please do not call and ask the secretaries to call the classroom to have the student released.  Our secretaries work very hard and are often alone in the office.  They are not able to be responsible for monitoring the time and ensuring that they call individual students down at the correct time.  Pre-planning also minimizes disruption to the instruction happening in the classroom.  Thank you for your assistance in this area.
