- Beginning in 2015-16 there are additional expectations for parents to “request their child” at the door of the bus at the end of the day (applies to JK-SK students only). Parents are required to come to the bus door and ask for the child by name in order to promote safe dismissal. This expectation is outlined in the attached flyer. Parents of Kindergarten students are to wait until older students have disembarked from the bus and then they may approach the door of the bus.
Any student who is not met by a parent/guardian, or accompanied by an older sibling, will be retained on the bus and returned to the school.
