Sara Westbrook will be presenting her UPower concerts to our students during the day on Thursday February 18. Using her personal stories and songs she shares skills that will help our students create a mindset of Resilience, Confidence and Respect.
Grade 4 -8 students will benefit from a ‘HEALTHY RESILIENT MIND MATTERS’ UPower concert by:
- Learning to use a Choice Making Formula that gives them the skills to think and act beyond their feelings.
- Discovering how to bounce back from challenging circumstances.
- Realizing the importance of releasing feelings in a healthy way so they don’t hurt themselves or others.JK – Grade 3 students will benefit from a ‘Superheroes for RESPECT’
- UPower concert by:
- Recognizing they are superheroes when they choose to respect themselves, others and their dreams.
- Celebrating their uniqueness and the uniqueness of others.
- Learning 3 activities that will keep them on track to respecting themselves, others and their dreams.
