WAYVE

WAYVE stands for working against youth violence everywhere. The program started in 2001 When CMHA and Waterloo Region Youth Action Committee partnered to start a program aimed at youth. The purpose is to address youth identified issues. Trained to be aware of sensitive youth issues WAYVE members provide support to peers through education and awareness of local resources. Our Lincoln Heights WAYVE teams are happy to have a voice in such important issues facing our youth today. They have future activities planned and an upcoming regional training day this month.
