Last month we tried an experiment – we kicked off the month of November by singing O Canada and having our announcements outside. We invited parents who were still on the playground to join us as we celebrated community and the kick off of our focus on Empathy. Tomorrow we will be kicking off the month of December with a flagpole ceremony as well. We would like to invite any parents who would like to join us to please stick around to join us in the singing of O Canada and the reading of our announcements. We will also be introducing our focus on Mindfulness for the month of December. Our HERO GENERATION newsletter will be coming home tomorrow as well to celebrate what happened in November and introduce Mindfulness for December. There are ideas within this newsletter of things you can do as a family to support this focus throughout the month. Thank you as always for your involvement in your child’s education.
