January 9 – Transportation Cancellation

Due to the current weather conditions ALL SCHOOL BUSES, TAXIS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION ROUTES in Wellesley, Wilmot, Woolwich and North Dumfries Townships are cancelled for the Waterloo Region District School Board

The following schools dependent on Transportation are Closed for the Day: Floradale, Linwood, WaterlooOxford D.S.S.
ALL evening RENTAL PERMITS at these schools are CANCELLED

TRANSPORTATION IN ALL OTHER AREAS IS OPERATING AND SCHOOLS ARE OPEN.

All Extended Day Child Care programs are OPEN.

Clarification- Extended Day

YES!! The extended day programming and YMCA after school programming will be happening today as usual.

School will be open – Thursday, Jan. 8

The school will be open as usual tomorrow, January 8th.  This includes our morning Extended day program.  Toilets and sinks will be working, but students will not be able to drink the water from the fountains.  Bottled water will be provided. Thank you for your patience as we work through these issues.

It seems as though winter has finally arrived. Please make sure to bundle up your children. Outdoor play will continue, unless the temperature is below -20 degrees with wind chill.
